Huang Hui and Chen Xiaoling provide legal training for our client

Our law firm is a permanent legal advisor of Shenzhen Oceanus Group. At its invitation, our senior partner Huang Hui and associate Chen Xiaoling provided a legal training course titled “A Probe into Several Legal and Practical Issues related to Bills of Lading” for its freight marketing department on 30^th August 2018.


The training course was focused on five aspects, namely “the risks of anti-dated/advanced bills of lading”, “legal consequences of delivery of goods without the original of a bill of lading”, “freight prepaid and freight collect”, “the effect of incorporation of charters into bills of lading”, and “the setting of a letter of guarantee in the event of inconsistencies between the bill of lading and the mate’s receipt”.


Huang Hui and Chen Xiaoling also shared with our client a series of useful and practical loss prevention measures and suggestions that are based on their valuable insights and knowledge accumulated over many years of practice in combination with typical court cases.
