With over 100 attendees comprising prominent judges, lawyers, arbitrators and university scholars, the inaugural meeting of the Maritime Law Research Institute of Guangdong Law Society, Guangzhou Research Institute of Maritime Law and the Maritime Law Research Institute of Guangzhou Law Society was successfully held in the International Conference Hall of South China Normal University on 26 May 2018.  Also in attendance were: Mr. Liang Debiao - Vice President of Guangdong Law Society, Ms. Tan Xiaohong - Vice President of Guangzhou Federation of Social Science Circles, Mr. Xu Muquan - Deputy Inspector of Guangzhou Municipal Committee of Political Science and Law and Vice President of Guangzhou Law Society, and Mr. Yang Xiaosheng - Secretary of South China Normal University School of Law. 

 

The Articles of Association of the Maritime Law Research Institute of Guangdong Law Society and a list of consultants, President, Vice president, Secretary General, standing directors and members of the board of directors were passed unanimously at the meeting by show of hands at the meeting. Our partner Mr. Huang Hui serves as a standing director of the Maritime Law Research Institute of Guangdong Law Society. 

 

Mr. Huang Hui has practiced maritime law for 15 years. He is a highly experienced and extremely skilled lawyer, having handled nearly one thousand maritime cases covering almost all aspects of maritime law.
