Huang Hui and Zhang Jing won the 2017 Annual Achievement Award

Recently, Guangzhou Lawyers Association announced its 2017 Annual Awards Decision. Our partners Mr. Huang Hui and Ms. Zhang Jing, having successfully handled a series of 18 maritime cases arising from a deadly collision between a Chinese ship and a Marshall container ship covering various types of maritime dispute including collision, crew casualties, cargo loss, wreck salvage, MSA emergency handling, cleaning and anti-pollution, insurance claims and insurance recovery, won the 2017 Annual Achievement Award.
 
The “Annual Achievement Award” was created by Guangzhou Lawyers Association to recognise legal practioners in Guangzhou who have during the year successfully handled major, difficult and complicated cases, made outstanding achievements in the development of business, or made the legislative, judicial and administrative proposals which have been adopted by the relevant authorities and achieved good social effects.
 
Both Mr. Huang Hui and Ms. Zhang Jing won the Award for two consecutive years, relying on the professional advantages and team capabilities and also benefiting from the efficient management and excellent inheritance of Huang & Huang Co. In recent years, he has also worked with lawyers in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Panama and South Africa and other regions in a number of foreign commercial cases and international maritime arbitration cases and been to courts or arbitration tribunals in New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Panama to give testimony as fact witness or expert witness in the PRC law, assisting in achieving satisfactory results in all the cases.
