With respect to the case arising from the dispute over discharge without presentation of the B/L, which was filed by an import and export corporation in Bengbu, Anhui against “A” Shipping Company in Geneva, “B” Company and other two defendants, Mr. Huang Yaquan attended the proceedings of the first and second instance on behalf of “A” Shipping Company. Under the circumstances that “A” Shipping Company and “B” Company must be liable jointly and severally for the compensation according to the judgment in the first instance, yet the unremitting efforts of the lawyers in Huang & Huang Co. Law Firm contributed to the change of judgment made by the second instance court, holding that “B” Company should be solely responsible for the compensation but the “A” Shipping Company should have no liability for the compensation. |
