In June 2002, damages were found at the port of destination in the batch of goods insured by an insurance company in Guangzhou and transported by a transportation company, Guangzhou branch and the other two defendants. The insurance company, after paying insurance indemnity, claimed for CNY357095.58 against the three defendants. Our lawyers Mr. Huang Yaquan and Mr. Huang Hui handled the proceedings in 1st instance and 2nd instance for and on behalf of the insurance company. The 1st instance judgment was not in favor of our party, but our lawyers managed to obtain a judgment handed down by the 2nd instance court whereby 1st instance judgment was set aside and our clients’ claim was fully supported. The defendant has fulfilled its payment obligation. |
