The machines and the accessories imported by a foodstuff company in Fujian from Italy was dropped off from the port’s cradle when the goods were being handled on Guangzhou Huangpu Port area, causing the goods damaged in a loss of about USD1.22 million. The cargo receiver claimed against the carrier, a national famous large-scale ocean shipping company in China. Our Mr. Huang Yaquan was appointed by the carrier to handle this case. Through rich case-handling experience and unremitting efforts, Mr. Huang Yaquan fully constituted the liability limitation fund for the client, limiting the final compensation amount to USD 6, 5000 only. |
