On 13th March 2003, Vessel A owned by “A” Shipping Company in Zhanjiang and Vessel B owned by "B"Shipping Company in Guangzhou collided with each other at the water area of Shajiao, Guangzhou Port, resulting in sinking of Vessel A and the total loss of the cargo on board Vessel A. Our Mr. Huang Hui brought claim against the two ship owners on behalf of the nine cargo owners and the underwriter of the seven of them—China Pacific Property Insurance Co. Ltd. (CPPI) Hainan. After a series legal procedures and careful works, such as registry of the creditor’s rights and claim for affirmation of rights, Mr. Huang Hui successfully claimed for back recovery of more than RMB 2 million for the clients. |
